General Technical Consultation
The entries on this page comprise a short list of the technical services I offer. Please to not hesitate to contact me if you have technical needs not outlined herein. I have a large network of technical professional colleagues through whom we will be able to fulfill your requirements or point you in the right direction.
Troubleshooting & Reverse Engineering
Whether the challenge arises from your design or an OEM product or system, I offer expertise in troubleshooting and reverse engineering. Two sides of the same coin, they require the ability to shift focus between detail and system levels, while maintaining the discipline to "listen" to the design without distraction from tempting extraneous detail. A little bit of divide and conquer doesn't hurt either.
Technical Document / Specification Authoring and Review
I can review your technical documents for completeness, correctness, overspecification, redundancies, descrepancies and ambiguities that can be costly when deep into project commitments. Example documents include specifications, application programming interfaces, statements of work, test plans, and scheduals.
System Level and General Technical Services:
Installation and Integration Assistance
I can perform, assist with and/or manage the setup, installation, integration or testing of products, high tech-equipment or OEM systems. Examples include vision systems, system analyzers, test equipment, environmental monitors, etc.
Data Aquisition Systems
Any parameter that can be practically measured can be automatically acquired, logged and analyzed through modern data acquisition systems and analysis tools. I can provide the end-to-end solution, utilize your existing equipment or work with any combination in between. Example data acquisition systems include environmental data loggers, event counters, test fixture monitoring, etc.
